A List Of The Most Impressive Dissertation Ideas On Juvenile Delinquency

Like any other dissertation, you have to have the information to back up your thesis. Even if you’re speaking from personal experience, you should do your research and list sources to prove your point. You have to have data, statistics and possibly even testimonies. Every dissertation requires you to have a well-written argument and information to support that argument.

There are so many topics to choose from when dealing with juvenile delinquency. If you have experience in this area – or you know someone who does – then it might be a good idea to start there. Knowing about or having personal involvement in your topic can bring an interesting view to your dissertation.

You need a dissertation that will stand out. The goals to impress your teachers. Whether you’re in middle school, high school or college, juvenile delinquency can be an interesting and unique topic. Everyone will have different opinions and ideas on the subject, and even though someone else might also be writing their dissertation on juvenile delinquency, each voice is different.

It’s important to decide your stance on your subject and state your own opinion. Like I said, every opinion is different, and it will be easy to differ from others and create your own ideas. Here are some dissertation ideas that I think are the most controversial:

  • What effect does the media have on juvenile crimes? You can propose whether music lyrics, video games and television promotes violence or if it does not come into play at all.
  • Do juveniles with low or lack of self-control have a higher tendency to commit crimes?
  • Examine the statistics and decide whether or not juvenile offenders are more likely to become adult offenders.
  • How does the family environment affect juvenile offenders? Are children with a poor home life more likely to commit offenses?
  • Are children who know adult offenders more likely to become offenders themselves? Do children with family histories of crime play some role in juveniles committing crimes?
  • Are juvenile offenders punished too harshly or not harsh enough? How do these harsh (or less harsh) sentences affect their lives? Show negatives and positives.
  • Is it fair to try juvenile offenders as adults based on the severity of their crimes?
  • Do male juvenile offenders receive harsher sentencing than female juvenile offenders who have committed the same or similar crimes?
  • How can the rate of juvenile delinquency be decreased? Is there a better way to rehabilitate underage offenders than sentencing them to corrections facilities?

Hello! I'm Josh, and I'm a college student. Research paper writing is a kind of a hobby for me, maybe because I love the things I study. I hope that my experience will help you to get better grades.
